I have had to visit here several times, strictly on an emergency basis. Not only are the facilities them selves run down but the area it is doesn’t have the best of reputations! Security and staff are typically constantly on edge and tend to be extremely harsh. They spend A lOT of time dealing with overdoses and detoxing from what I understand stand.

Worst hospital ever! I ran into the er with my screaming 1 year old baby that had a huge cut through his eyebrow. We both were covered in blood. I get checked in and they tell me to sit in the waiting room. Over 30 minutes go by and still never got taken back to a room! So we left and when to AI. got to AI and was immediately taken back to a room and they started treating my son ! 7 stitches later and I couldn't be more pleased with NEMOURS ! union hospital and christiana care is a joke ! "For the love of health"! 🤣

If I could give this hospital a 0 I would have. Don't ever send your loved ones to this hospital!!!! Found my brother in law laying in urine and dehydrated I guess cuz if they give him fluids they will have to help him use the bathroom. And he is literally starving to death also....so sad.

Despite all the negative reviews, I decided to go to the Emergency due to an accident I had during vacation, we visited on 07/17/25 around 11am and at the time we were third in line, I was taken care of within five minutes and given a room where I was taken for x-rays and ultrasound, I was given my results the same day and I was out of there before 2pm, the staff listened to my concerns and helped me the best way they could to make me comfortable. Definitely if there’s another incident I would visit again!
