I am very disappointed with the communication at this office. The nurse practitioner did not respond in a timely manner—we waited almost two days for a call back and never received one. The front desk staff is also not very responsive, and it’s very difficult to reach anyone by phone. This lack of communication makes it very frustrating as a patient.
Dr. Burdette is very compassionate and intelligent. She actively listens to you and provides exceptional care. She deserves to be recognized and is an asset to Christiana Care. I am honored to be her patient and rest assured in her care.
I honestly don’t know why I kept going back here after I had my daughter. No one EVER answers the phone so it’s impossible to get a hold of someone. I had my annual gyno appointment a few weeks ago and I told the doctor that my period seemed slightly irregular to which he responded it’s “probably nothing”. no further conversation happened. No follow up was made. That was it. I have been here since 3:15pm. It is now 7:22pm. There is a sign in the window saying, you are seen according to the severity of your issue and not in the order of arrival. I want to leave. I have been hemorrhaging for 11 days. I guess that's not severe. 🤷♀️ Sucks because if I leave, I would have to start the process all over again. My appointment with my doctor isn't until June 13.
