My background is as a technologist; ARRT registered in 3 modalities. After many years in clinical practice I became a clinical education specialist for over 4 years for an imaging manufacturer. I now work in a research and clinical expert capacity for a manufacturer; which includes breast imaging research studies. Because of their mix up I have to wait another 4 months for an appointment. They changed my appointment for this week and sent me a text to inform me of a different date and time. Everyone has off days so I didn’t read too much into this first interaction with her. She told my mom she would need to come back for a biopsy because she couldn’t tell either way without one. We then come back to the breast c... read more
