Dr Twiss is great and worth the 8 month wait. However there is a total and complete lack of responsiveness from his staff - I have made multiple phone calls and left more than one patient portal message. Still there is absolutely no response to my request for an extension of my PT and prescription request. Absolutely nothing!
Dr Twiss performed surgery on my mother, Patsy Ward, on July 1st. She was sent home in severe pain. He or his staff never called to check on her. They never returned her phone calls. They further mailed an 87 year old woman a LETTER stating that she has to download an app and set up an account to get her results. Last night, 7/13, she had to be taken to emergency at the hospital because she was in so much pain. They still have not called to follow up. I never seen anything like this from a physician.
I’m driving 17 hours for pelvic mesh removal next month. I called and he had a telehealth with me 3 days later for about an hour. Very thorough and understanding. Nebraska has the worst doctors. Mesh is imbedded with infection from the time it was placed nobody here would even look into my problems I’ve been septic so much it has killed my optic nerves and I’m legally blind at 27.
