I had an emergency hip surgery with Dr. Haywood and I will say that he was great at communicating both expertise and bedside manner. I had a new hip but it was because of an accident not through a plan hip replacement.
Dr. Heywood is a very good Orthopedic doctor and surgeon. He listens to the patient and is thorough with the evaluation. Highly recommend.

I was referred to Dr Heywood from another medical facility that does the same hip replacement that Dr. Heywood did on me. They said that Dr Heywood was the best and I wanted the best. And they were right. I am up and walking almost 100% normal in just a little over three weeks. And of course his staff were all excellent to me. Kind and very thorough in explaining what was going to happen before and after my hip replacement. From the front desk staff all the way to x-ray and in between all that were all very nice.
