I chose Christian Brothers Automotive Leander because of their reputation for honesty and transparency. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with that image. I brought my Toyota Yaris in for a diagnostic which lead to a spark plug replacement and a fuel induction service. The total charge was $706 after tax. UPDATE: Be very WARY of these so-called "Christian" Brothers. They quoted me around $700 to replace a coolant reservoir and small hose from the reservoir. I ended up doing this myself in less than an hour, parts were less than $100. Also this should have been covered by their warranty as the leak was coming from the hose which the tech, on a separate repair visit, had improperly notched at the top, causing it to split. Things that CBA does right... 1. Extremely fast turnaround times 2. Quality work backed up with warranty ( with caveats ) 3. Courteous professional staff Things that are making me think twice about going to CBA for next repair and giving me pause to recommend CBA... 1. Price is exorbitant - even for the fast turnaround time, quality work/warranty 2. I went in with a problem I couldn’t identify. They kept me informed as they diagnosed the issue and found the best solution. They gave me options for additional repairs and walked me through which had to be done and which could wait, something I deeply appreciated. The turn around was incredibly quick, only one day, which would be less had I gotten my car in first thing in the morning. I felt respected the whole time and enjoyed every staff member I interacted with. Would happily come back!
