There are NO Christians at Christian Brothers Automotive. They allowed me to drive away in a vehicle that was not safe to drive. They failed to inform me after doing a diagnostic and test drive that my vehicle was not safe to drive. I went in for a clutch repair--they confirmed that I needed a clutch repair--but the issue was far more serious than that. My truck is not drive able. Took my son's car to them with check engine light issue. They replaced modules totaling $217. When we left parking lot, issue returned. Now, they said VVT's needed replaced. Replaced them for $1700, after I talked them down from $2400. When we left parking lot, issue returned. Now, they quote me $6500 for timing chain replacement. Contacted their corporate office. They said these are franchises, work it out with them. Are you kidding me! Be aware! These CBA franchises are money factories. TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE>

BE AWARE OF 'CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AUTOMOTIVES'!!!! My husband and I took our car to "Christian Brothers Automotive" in the Woodlands, TX for the State Inspection. It passed inspection. We paid the inspection fees. When we inserted the car key into the Honda, it didn't start. We went back to the office and told Damian, Service Advisor, about it; so, he & another worker tried to start the car but had the same problem. The car wouldn't crank, even with a good battery. prior to heading to CBA I went to 2 places to get a vehicle examination both said exactly the same thing which is a basic coolant to radiator hose leaking, CBA need to determination and charge me $10 more. They didn't adhere to the cost when I went to hold for examination far. so they will assistant Friday to do analyze. went Friday and let me know numerous issues connected with my vehicle. was stunned. send me 5 pic of future fix and 3 quick. to get fix need to take my vehicle next Friday. got text pic and email get back to... read more

I called to get a quote to replace my gearshift button. They quoted parts and labor and I booked an Appt. When I got there the price was DOUBLE what they quoted over the phone. I address that and they said they didn’t include the “diagnosis charge”. I said well then you can eat the additional cost. They said ABSOLUTELY NOT! I said I don’t need to have it diagnosis we both know what’s wrong with it. I DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH COMPANIES THAT “BATE AND SWITCH” I will NEVER do business with them again.

I had the worst experience with this shop. Consumer beware— they lied about repairs they made then charged me 2k then I drove my vehicle to visit my family for the holidays and my radiator cracked in the middle of a downpour on the interstate. This was something that they charge me for and clearly did not repair it. I’m filed a claim with the BBB and they ignored it to completely avoid accountability! I recommend anywhere but these lying greedy con artists!

2004 civic goes in for diagnosis work. Informed that timing is 180 degrees out and other minor work and leaks. Quoted almost 3k to fix. Deny service. Owner asks to buy car for $500 plus my diagnostic bill.Decide to do work myself. Check timing,it's dead on. Change and clean egr valve and put on new exhaust manifold. Car runs fine. Shop is either run by crooks or idiots
