Here’s something to think about: when a doctor repeatedly moves from one practice to another, it raises questions. Based on my experience, I have a hard time understanding how this doctor has earned such positive reviews. I work in the medical field myself, and I was genuinely surprised by the level of care I received. I scheduled an appointment expecting to discuss testosterone replacement therapy with a primary care physician. After spending my entire morning at the appointment, I was told that Dr. Perera was not comfortable prescribing or managing testosterone therapy. If a physician does not provide or is not comfortable managing this type of treatment, patients should be informed before scheduling an appointment.
