I took my 3yr old into see her. We live about 90 min from her office. It was only supposed to be our initial consult and to schedule testing for another appt. When she found out how far away we lived, they got his testing done the same day. Very professional office. I have zero complaints and I'm not usually one to be impressed. They did his testing on his skin, got his blood drawn, had our consult, new medications, and all questions answered with medications explained in 3 hours!! I would recommend her hands down!
Dr. O is an amazing doctor!! My son has been seeing her for 10 years. She is always very thorough with her exams as well as a great listener! She even listens to other health concerns that aren’t directly related to his asthma or allergies. Dr. O looks at the Big picture to see how every puzzle piece fits together. (She’s our “Dr. House”) I have the upmost respect for Dr. O!!! Our family loves her and thanks her for everything she’s done for us!!!
The most unorganized and unprofessional orchestrion of a medical office I have ever experienced with my children. Which is such a shame, because Dr. O is very good at what she does, but her staff is beyond incompetent which hinders the entire situation & experience. The sadest part of it all, they are the only Peds allergy/asthma specialist in Wichita who see children 5 & under, therefore That must be why they act with such unprofessionalism & treat you like a number. Dr. Ogilvie is worth a five star rating on her own outside of Via Christi. She is amazing and treats your child like they are the only patient she has that day. It is very difficult to schedule with her as a new patient, but that is because she is that good and the only pediatric allergist for young children in Wichita. She also only works certain days, so if your need is urgent, it may be worth going to another allergist until you can get in with her.
This place is seriously a joke. My daughter has been going here once a year for the past 4 to 5 years and it has been so frustrating from the beginning. Every time we have an appointment scheduled with Dr. O we get a call that they need to cancel and reschedule. Seriously this has happened every single time. It is ridiculous and so frustrating.
