My 88 year old parent was admitted for shortness of breath and a Covid-19 positive result. While symptoms were mild, Dr Yoo indicated that he expected symptoms to worsen within 3 days and told my father “don’t expect to ever leave.” This sent him into a whirlwind of panic and negativity which is not characteristic of his personality. I expressed my dismay and disappointment to Dr Yoo at not giving his patient a sense of hope.
