The Medical Claims Adjuster for this company, Based out of Brookfield, has been really difficult to deal with, with terms of her lack of communication. My experience with her, really put a sour taste for that company and would not recommend this Insurance to anyone. She would not reply back to my phone calls, when she did, it would be a week later. **** * I was in an accident last year where I was rear-ended by a gentleman who was covered by Erie Insurance. It's exactly one year later and I still have not received my payment for my chiropractor and am also being hounded by Medicare to return the money they sent to cover me. I am incredibly frustrated by Erie's lack of responsiveness and will be filing a claim with the State's Insurance Commission.

I'M 85, HAVE HAD SEVERAL DIFFERENT NSURERS OVER THE YEARS, AND ERIE IS THE BEST! Their reps are easy to reach, they handle claims quickly, and their prices are lower than most.

If I could give any less then a 1 star rating I would. They screw you over and give you the run around for hours. They only care about the almighty dollar. Wish I had gone with a different company.

My vehicle was hit by a Erie Insurance customer. She admitted full responsibility of accidentally hitting my car. I called this agency and dealing with the customer service representative, and this is the worst experience ever. She is completely rude and extremely unfriendly. Due to her attitude and lack of compassion if I am ever looking to switch my insurance provider, Erie will most certainly be NOT my choice after the experience of having to deal with their representatives. A homeowner does not have insurance unless the insurance company steps up and accepts a claim when damage or loss has occurred. I live in an area with ten homes in a very close area. Lots are about 5,000 square feet. Homes are priced in the upper end. All homes built by the same builder all with a year of each other. All used the exact same shingle Certainteed Horizon. Brittny S******, Brittny R*** S****** is the worst Inside Claims Representative that works for Erie Insurance in Erie Pa at the Corprate office. From day 1 , it has been nothing but a hassel trying to file a claim with Jessica. She is very rude and ignorant on the phone. When she calls , she doesn't leave a voicemail. So you have no idea who she was and the reason she was calling. I had called and left a few messages and she doesn't return any phone calls. I had to call in to the office and give them a fake name just to get ... read more

This company is a joke, in WI where I own my home, the shingles starting coming off with high winds n regular winds. I called the company to file a claim on my roof and that there was water coming in, n mold on the walls. He came out with a roofer, the roofer went onto the roof all the way to the top and fell off, the shingles ripped from underneath him and he also brought down a few shingles with his fall, luckily he was ok after a while, I also showed him the black streaks coming down the ceiling n mold on the ceiling.
