Dr. J. Chris Portera is an outstanding doctor. He did my surgery in 2012. I highly recommend him if you need an excellent surgeon, gynecologist, or urologist. He is also most kind, understanding, & with a highly professional bedside manner.
I had a procedure done with doc Portera yesterday. The compassion Shay showed me was off the chart it was a difficult procedure for me . She talked me through a panic attack and almost passing out twice. And doc Portera very calm and understood my pain he is a very gentle soul. He is very intelligent in his field as a specialist for my issues.
Wonderful Doctor! Everyone was so nice and friendly. Dr Portera was great. He explained my options and helped me to understand the treatment. Everyone was on time. No waiting. I was seen within 15 minutes of arrival. No complaints from me!
The whole staff was very professional and listened to my issues and responded, I feel, responsively. I was very comfortable with Dr. Portera, even though I hadn't been to a Gyno in probably 5 years.
Dr Portera was recommended to me by an another OB/GYN doctor. She said he’s the best surgeon around at fixing incontinence issues. I trusted her word because she is an awesome doctor herself. She said she sent her elderly mother to him for surgery. Dr Portera doesn’t talk too much, but he answered my questions. The exam went well and the results of the surgery have been amazing. He was very kind and helpful at my follow up appointment. I’d definitely recommend him, especially if you need surgery.
