Horrible experience in ER department. Took my 3 yr old in for high fever and suspected RSV. Dr. Ordered labs and chest x-Ray.. RSV was confirmed and we were sent home, no medication just instructions to follow up with family doctor. Several days later, she was still feeling bad so I went to medical records to review her chart and chest x-Ray. Turns out she had "perihilar and left lobe pneumonia." I was never informed of these results nor were they forwarded to my child's doctor. Had I not gotten the results myself days later... read more
