We had an overall great experience with Chowhound! They were helpful and prompt with answering questions throughout the planning process and everything was extremely smooth the day of with no issues. The food was good and we got everything we expected. They also packed up the leftovers given we provided containers which was really nice for us! Amazing! Great people and great food. Everything turned out great for my wedding. Most of my guests told me it was some of the best food they’ve had at a wedding. Would recommend!
All we can say is WOW!!!! We hired Chowhound Gourmet to cater our wedding & they were absolutely AMAZING. They were the talk of our wedding by all guests & staff! Chowhound was amazing! They were our first company to check out as well as first call on availability check. After viewing the website and speaking with Lucretia, I immediately booked for our wedding. We had a short planning window, 30 days. We used Chowhound Gourmet for our wedding. Overall, we’d recommend — the dinner was good and we received lots of complements on the apps and dessert (best cheesecake I’ve ever had!). However, we felt that the dinner we had at our tasting was MUCH better than what was served the evening of the wedding, which was disappointing. Also, communication was quite unorganized and invoice clarity/methods to make payments could definitely be improved.
