Shirts that decry racism shouldn't be "a political ideology". Anti-racism should be a societal norm, and it shouldn't be controversial. Disciplinary actions against someone for being even passively anti-racist lends credence to racists. Acknowledging any sort of contrived "controversy" on the topic of anti-racism lends additional power to racists. Racists shouldn't be accommodated to feel comfortable in public.
