Nothing special, just sustenance to fill your stomach when on the road. Would not have gone there except for the $10.00 off from the hotel next door.
I've been here two times. The first Tim I has fish and chips. The pieces were small, and just, "ok". Nothing at all to write home about. The second time I ordered clam chowder. The chowder was SO fishy that I couldn't eat it and I had to breathe through my nose until they took it away! I told the waitress and she did not offer a substitution or any kind of compensation. I will never go back, you can count on that.
Enjoyed our stay next door. Dinner was amazing. Shrimp tacos were very flavorful and a good portion. My husband's fish n chips were amazing. Breakfast next morning was delicious. Gave my husband an extra biscuit on his meal with gravy on it. For our honeymoon. We were very very pleased.
Our first visit was today (May 1) for breakfast. The French toast was very poor. It was made with a very good bread, but that's what it amounted to. Warm bread with a few blueberries sprinkled on top. The egg that I ordered on the side (over medium) was overcooked and cold. They do not serve hash browns, which is a big negative for my wife. We will try them for lunch, but never again for breakfast.
Good food, good prices, great customer service, and the best chowder! GET THE CHOWDER!
