I'm vegetarian, so I can't speak for their classics, but that grilled cheese and tomato soup is fantastic.
I LOVE the food here, but the last 4 times I have tried to come anytime between 11 and 1 they have been closed. Such a bummer to get excited for something and not have it work out that many times. The inconsistency has made it where I can no longer consider this as a lunch option, just because I can't know for sure if I'll actually be able to get it once I arrive. Would love to try again once I have some clarification on their open hours.
Got there at 12:30. Not open. Hours say they open at 11am. I see door open in back so I walked back around the cart. I ask the worker when they are opening and he said “when you see the door open”. We drove 45 minutes just to try this place. It never opened so we left to go to another place in the area. Don’t know if the food is good or bad but fallow your hours.
Awesome cheesesteaks and chowder, cheesesteaks are not traditional cheesesteaks, but make for an amazing meal!
Best clam chowder I've ever had. It's just thick enough, but still soupy. Perfect ratio of clams Nd potatoes. Excellent seasoning. Served piping hot with oyster crackers.
