Owner thinks he can charge whatever price he wants for hibachi chicken and scallops, regardless of price on menu. Pretty sure that's illegal
This will be our third time ordering from this restaurant. Although the food is good, the service is not that great. And every time we order for pick up we get some random sushi rolls that we never even ordered. This time we decided to check the order at the counter when we went to pick it upand of course the order was all wrong. Ordered sushi from Phoenix and was very confused when I picked it up. You can’t order directly from their website, it redirects to Uber Eats or DoorDash. We used Uber Eats, and the sushi we got was nothing like what we ordered. The orange chicken turned out to be an orange peeled and shaped like a bear! 2 sushi rolls were incorrect as well and the person helping me had me write down what the order was supposed to be and walked away. First off food is great, we’ve been long time customers. Mainly impressed by how it is still in business… customer service is comically poor for how good the food is. Owner is a little cranky but hey years later he’s still in business. Kinda weird but we enjoy the food lol PS. Yes they’re open, they just don’t answer the phone. May have to call 6-7 times and someone finds the phone.
Edit to response: I literally have the whole Door Dash app and have proof there is no contact from this restaurant and a screenshot of DD apologizing for the restaurant not contacting me. The blah response won’t change my review. I ordered from Shiki and got a correct order and now have a new go to I’ve been eating here a long time. Never again! Ordered a Salmon Hibachi Meal, extra Shrimp sauce, and Mango sticky rice because it was listed on Door Dash. Apparently a Japanese restaurant is out of Salmon but did not remove the ... read more
