Usually their food is good but tonight we ordered nearly $60 of food that was hot but not fresh at all. The stuffing in the egg rolls were overcooked to the point that we believe a lot Of our order was recooked over and over. I am so disappointed because out of all the Chinese restaurants in Woodstock, this place was my favorite. :(

Ohhh where to start? Chop suey hut is the best restaurant around hands down! Couldn’t get better if they tried! Everything on the menu is beyond amazing especially the egg rolls! Only problem is they ruin all other egg rolls for you, like you won’t bother eating an egg roll anywhere else ever again. I moved to Kentucky and for 5 years I only ate egg rolls when I came up to visit family and would go to chop suey hut. Also the fried chicken is amazing in like any other restaurant. The absolute best egg rolls you'll ever eat. All the food is Great and so is the Customer Service
I gave it three stars, Lunch Buffet is so so but nothing appealed to me so I ordered off the menu, I ordered the chicken Egg Foo Young and Chicken Fried Rice. The egg Foo Young was $5.95 for two SMALL patties and another $5.95 for the Fried Rice. Tasted a little bland but good quality.
Chop Suey Hut is an amazing family owned restuarant with the best egg rolls in McHenry County.
Not just because i worked there for years. Ive tried Chinese food from many other places nothing will ever be the same. their egg rolls and rangoons are to die for.
