Location was important. We did not have to leave hotel and have less of a dining experience.
We spent about 70 for a steak that was flavorless and tough and came with NO sides ... added a potato and a burger and fries. No alcohol. Nothing else. The burger was large and well cooked but flavorless ... no spices whatsoever. The iced tea was nasty. Service was so/so. We will not be back.
The service was not that good. Portions are tiny for what you have to pay. All the fries were burnt, we asked for more that were not burnt and they brought us raw potatoes. My cesear salad looked like it was very old lettuce topped with nasty croutons and smothered in dressing so that hopefully you could taste how disgusting it actually was. We were not asked how our meal was and when we asked to see a manager we were told they weren't here and to come back to speak with them. We LOVE Chop House in TN, it just sad that Ashev... read more

Business response:
Thank you valued guest for your feedback. We have analyzed the reviews from our guests and pricing has been an issue. We are taking the necessary steps with our new chef to rollout a new menu that will go into effect Feb 1st. With that said, we would like to invite you back in to the restaurant ON US to try out our new menu items sometime in Feb. Please call me at 828-253-1851 EXT 151 and I can setup that reservation for you. Again, thank you for your review and we hope to hear from you soon. Courtney Rossi, GM.
My husband and I went to the chop House on Saturday night about 930 pm we were the only patrons there, water was brought to us we was NEVER ASKED if we wanted something else to drink. I ordered my steak well done it came out very pink in the middle, the mashed potatoes my husband ordered tasted old, I requested Heinz 57 steak sauce the gentleman waiting on us didn't know what that was, oh he was from Pittsburgh...lol so they gave us chocolate cake to make up for this terrible dinner and service. Will not eat there again!!!
This is not your typical Chop House. I was not impressed at all. The food was very sub par. We waited a very long time to get food then it was cold when we got it. Not worth the money at all.
Chop House has a 3.9 star rating with 38 reviews.
Chop House is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
