I gave atmosphere a 2 because there were so many flies in the restaurant. We spent the entire time swatting flies. My nephew asked for a fly swatter so we could start killing them. The mission was impossible because there were that many flies. My favorite place has become my least favorite place. You would think that when a customer asks for a fly swatter they would get the hint and shut the door. I brought my Nephew, who lives out of state, to chomps to enjoy a meal and not swat flies. I'm sad to say I won't be back.
The food was good. We stopped in Solvang on our way home from vacation in Morro Bay and boy did we hit the wrong weekend..it was their biggest annual celebration so everything was so crowded and long waits.. I was wanting a hot dog of all things...on it way back to the car we came up on this restaurant and it had to wait because the parade was starting. My hot dog was really good as far as hotdogs go. My husband had a hamburger and is was sushi very good. The French fries were really really good.
What a great find. Didn't think the dinner was going to be as great as it was. Crab cakes and the pastrami sandwich were really good. Definitely will not be disappointed.
My family and I went up Solvang for the weekend to celebrate some birthdays. I reserved the private room in the back. We had a great time and the service was excellent.
