The elevator at 6570 Austin street breaks down about once a year, and each time I’ve had to chase management myself for a status update instead of being proactively informed. For a building this size, that’s not acceptable. I’m moving out soon, and given this track record of slow, unprompted communication, I’m concerned I’ll have to fight just as hard to get my security deposit back on time. Terrible. They are completely non-responsive to tenants and property owners alike at the properties they manage. Our condo is dirty, filled with trash, safety hazards everywhere, the roof is leaking, and nobody at Choice Management seems to care. Mariano does not reply to requests for help by phone, email, or text. AVOID!

I’ve been extremely disappointed with Choice New York’s management of our condo building. Over the last several years, we have cycled through multiple property managers at Choice, with very little continuity or meaningful oversight of the property. Our current property manager, Mariano, has been particularly difficult to work with.
