My car needed a very expensive repair, but these guys actually referred me to a different, unaffiliated shop that specializes in that repair and could do it for much less money. I saved hundreds of dollars and these guys got no benefit except the satisfaction of having helped a customer save money. They really are the most honest and knowledgeable car folks in town. We only bring our cars to Don and Fred, they are the best and I recommend them to everyone every chance I get. They've never tried to upsell me or convince me to replace everything when a smaller part or minor fix will do the job. They get things done fast and for very fair prices. I will never take my car to anyone else.
