CHOC in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove, the Children and Families Commission of Orange County and Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County have developed a community health center. The new center was built from the ground-up and occupies 14,000 square feet. This new center provides children’s medical, dental and family support services to the Garden Grove community.

Had an appointment at 12:45, got there at 12:30 since they asked to get there 15 min early to complete paper work. When I got there, the building was locked because lunch is from 12-12:30, which is fine, but it would’ve been nice to receive notice. The receptionists didn’t open the door until 12:40 & it seemed more like an annoyance. The person who opened the door rolled her eyes at me, and the rest looked at me as if I had ruined their lunch. Staff is friendly here the problem is the communication between the system and the way they interpret rules and loops they choose to use, this place is a great place for children but also could be a potential harm to children due to the fact that it is so easy for miscommunication and information that could lead to potential malpractice on their end due to medicating, over medicating a child or wrongfully diagnosing a child leaving them at a potential risk of being an experiment and being treated for the wrong thing, I under... read more
Never have appointments available until 3-4 months after u need to go in
My wife today was at the CHOC location with my daughter. She was mentioning that she was having UTI symptoms. The Doctor was male and made a malpractice assumption that it was ok for him to just dive right in and examine my daughters private parts. My wife was sitting right there. He neither as nor ever got consent to take those actions. We would have asked for a female doctor to without the presence of the male doctor perform the examination.
