CHKD Urgent Care is a real lifesaver! My daughter and I had a great experience on January 6th, 2026, when we visited for an eye injury. Dr. Kristy was fantastic, and the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. We returned on January 10th, 2026, after an accident at school, and the staff were again gentle, kind, and accommodating. The front end staff are so rude. They mumble out commands then talk down to you when you don't understand. Their kiosk didn't work for the check in and they totally coped an attitude with me about it.
You're better off going to CHKD hospital. These people could have killed my 5 year old. 2 urgent visits within 10 days for them to only diagnose her with strep and "stomach bug" brought her in on the 5th for a strep diagnoses and again on the 13th. Which then led us to a 4+ night stay in the hospital where are still currently at. Brought her in to be rushed back 10 min after stepping foot in the door. Immediately knew she needed fluids. Everyone at this location was wonderful today! The man at the security desk is so respectful and sweet and the ladies at the front desks are so nice! The entire staff is just great!
We got to the Urgent Care a little before 8 (their closing time) and was seen in a timely manner. We had the pleasure of seeing Emily Schank, MD as our provider and she was amazing! Not only did she make sure our baby was treated promptly, she even took the time to educate us parents on the signs to look for when at home.
