My son had surgery at this place in Newport News this past July. I can’t say enough good things about his and our experience. He had his tonsils out, adenoids removed and tubes in ears. He is 7 years old and he was extremely nervous (as were we as parents) This place treated him like a king from the moment we walked in the door. He had a special patient advocate that stuck by his side the entire wait up to the surgery. She played with him and talked to him and REALLY helped ease his anxiety and ours as parents also. My son had a referral for their PT department for an evaluation from his pediatrician. I waited a week or so, never got a call to set up an appointment like I was told would happen . So I had to call daily, got transferred around 5x, left daily voicemails to some woman named Jennifer without so much as a call back. After 2.5 months, he finally got an eval where they determined he needed services. Got told they would call me to schedule. Great!
