Everytime i go here I'm surprised how great it is. It hits all the right notes for comfort food, and yet they always have a couple new things to try, so I get to experience a little something new at the same time. It's good to have a plant-based spot around that doesnt just have 20 things on the menu that all use the same 4 ingredients. I like those places sometimes, but for obvious & listed reasons, Chive is much better than that.
I love the mushroom pasta dish. Love your very eco-friendly atmosphere. My daughters brought me there for my bday. This is my 2nd visit. Thank you!
Our favorite restaurant and it's practically in our back yard. Well, besides Clean Plate. And Green Space Cafe. Wow, so many outstanding local options!!!
Have been in this area for a long time and was looking out for a Vegan Restaurant. Heard about chive Kitchen recently. We finally visited them this weekend and we were not disappointed. In fact the disappointment was why we did not come here earlier. We loved the food so much. We would surely come back again to try out other items on their menu. Hats off to the guys behind this restaurant ��

Being a chef I am very picky about my food. I highly recommend the Chive Kitchen. The dishes we had were very tasty. We had: the Chili Cheese Fries, Traditional Garlic Portuguese Soup, Cauliflower Soup, The House Burger and the mock chicken Seitan over Pasta.
My husband and I drive from Oak Park to eat at this amazing restaurant. Great vibe from staff and decor, creative combinations for each dish, full bar (with fun mocktails for those of us who don't imbibe) and completely environmentally friendly. A real gem that deserves every good review it gets!
