We were inundated with cigarette smoke every single day while here and managers have failed to take action, aside only sending emails. Worst experience is to be asleep and wake up to realise your whole bedroom is filled with cigarette smoke. Only God knows how much you would have inhaled by then. We had to resort to opening the bedroom windows and doors when sleeping just to reduce the concentration of the smoke, despite the extremely cold weather.
Very unprofessional and rude management. They do not care about the tenants at all.
Worst leasing office and apartment owner (unit 703) I've dealt with in the US so far! Horribly unprofessional, these guys accepted my advance rent cheque and then suddenly voided my lease at the last moment. I wasn't even given a valid reason and could sense racism in owner's communication. I strongly suggest all educated professionals / students/ families to steer clear of renting any unit in this apartment.
I had an incredibly negative experience with Regency Building Co in Brighton. After paying two months' rent and signing the lease, I discovered several major issues with the apartment, including a ceiling that was coming off, a shattered and burnt kitchen counter, broken blinds, and damaged flooring.
