I was told to come in at 3pm to see a nurse. I waited patiently until 3:55pm and 5 minutes before they closed i was rushed in, asked what was wrong and then told I had to go to Minneapolis. Now I can't be seen until December 8th. This was in October. Take the hour and a half drive to Minneapolis. Not worth your time. Doctors hate their jobs and it is obvious. Employee in blood draw with snap at you and read your file when her job is to take piss and blood and speak to veterans with respect.

I've been with the Chippewa Falls VA Clinic since 2010, and I have nothing but good things to say about the service that I've received.

I retired from the USMC in 1994. I have not found any help at the Chippewa VA Clinic. When I do not find the people behind the reception desk helpful at all. When I asked for a retirement physical so I could get a disability rating. The Dr. asked why would you want to be disabled? I also have told the Dr. at the Chippewa VA clinic that I had lower abdominal hernias and he I didn't have any Hernia I was fat. I have gone from Wisconsin to Nebraska to New Mexico and to Oklahoma. Multiple trips to the ER for heart problems and what help does my primary at the clinic offer? None. They tell me to stay on the same meds i've been on for a month (at that time) that aren't helping and see what happens. This after one of the er visits. Been waiting for the scheduled phone call with them to try to get some more help, and they want to cancel because apparently they think I'm doing fine when they haven't actually been checking in with me.
