I was connected with Chipman via Mayflower and Chris very kindly made time for a video assessment at the last minute. Chris and Becky gave us a reasonable - and accurate - estimate, answered all our questions and kept us informed throughout. The documentation for the move was accessible and easy to understand. The movers at both ends - who showed up on time - were quick and careful with all our belongings. Very pleased with service, would recommend.

I cannot stress this enough: do not trust Mayflower / Chipman with your belongings. I hired them with the expectation that my items—especially rare, irreplaceable artwork—would be handled with care and professionalism. What I experienced was the complete opposite. Among the lost items were: A box containing five pieces of valuable artwork, including an original piece from New Orleans the artist later became quit famous and the 3 piece set originally cost me $1,500 A rare 1 st edition “Crazy for Cult” framed print by the reno... read more
