I've never really stayed at a resort/spa before so I didn't really know what to expect when my fiancee and I came here. We purchased the groupon and so we got a pretty good deal and then also decided to upgrade to a room with a hot-tub which was pretty worth it. The room itself was really unique and well decorated as well as very spacious and comfortable. My husband and I had a "no kids" getaway, first time in 6 years! Chipeta Sun Lodge was the perfect place. Everyone on staff was friendly and very helpful. The yoga and massage are a must. The lodge restaurant has a great atmosphere, nice drinks and a great menu to choose from. The live music was a plus while enjoying the most gorgeous view. We will be back again when the grandparents come to visit:)
My wife and I experienced Chipeta Sun Lodge and Spa and had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and quiet with outstanding views. The town of Ridgway is a short walk away and has several delicious restaurants. Ouray is a short drive away. The pools and spa were very nice. Our massages were extremely relaxing. Additionally, there is a very nice road on which to run only steps from the Lodge. I highly recommend Chipeta.

We wanted to take a break from Miami Beach and television production when we discovered Chipeta Lodge. It was perfect...cozy, intimate, a real fireplace in your room and wonderful fellow guests. A great way for my wife and I to rest and renew.
We come every year for our Anniversary & the new additions this year were fantastic. Housekeeping staff was great. Gaule made sure all our needs were met each day. Keep doing what you do. We love it here and will continue coming.
We drove from Denver for a 2 night stay. We found this wasn't enough time to enjoy the lodge and town. Next time we'll make it a week long trip.
