I took my wife there for our anniversary get away and I couldn’t have picked a worse place, food (buffet) was a joke, then I was insulted at the keno table, we cashed in our chips and headed for seaside, at least we know well enjoy ourselves there. No fun in Lincoln City.
We were in town for our granddaughter's basketball tournament and thought it would be nice for a large group (12) to go and have the buffet. What a joke! Had to wait in line for 30 min and then had to pay in advance and got a pager that would go off when they had room for us...(45 min later). We have spent time twice in the past year at the casino. It is kept very nicely, and shows customers all the courtesy expected of them. We enjoy playing the tables. The dealers are all very pleasant. We are staying there July of 2011 for a family reunion. Looking forward to our stay there and hope to be able to get on the golf course there.
wow, this place is really bad, it has terrible ventilation, and the customer service was amazingly bad. The poker room is tiny, and the slots are so tight I never saw anyone win. I will never go here again.
Clicked website link to review. It took me to Oregon Golf Association page which had nothing to do with the Chinook Winds resort or course. Would rate zero if that was available.
They need some strong winds to blow out the air in this joint. I've never smelled such an overpowering stench of tobacco upon opening a set of front doors. We were in town to gamble and left within 5 minutes because of the foul air. In Vegas you never get a whiff of smoke because they have such high powered filtration. I'll pass on the peace pipe.
The restaurant has a beautiful view, but the food is a disaster. Cold, soggy, or rubbery were the descriptions around our table.
We like to visit Chinook Winds Casino to gamble and have lunch. They have a great buffet. We like the slots. They have a good variety of them.
