the line for the buffet was about an hour wait didn't stay long enough to enjoy probably saved me a couple bucks too
Well we picked out Chinook Winds 1 never been 2 bringing family that has never been to the coast (62) yrs young 3 casino and hotel a plus (not) Well we arrived on July 3rd 1st of all hotel not connected to casino, got checked in our rooms changed 2 rooms, our pet room king bed, omg the smell, the pee spots, ripped carpet, no AC, bird crap on windows, bed was lumpy and hard, I stepped in poop and we just checked in... you hear other rooms above and on the sides... cable, wifi in and out... had food from restaurant the hamburg... read more
Not a smoker. Air quality was an issue for me. Otherwise a nice experience.
This is our favorite place to come with family. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. The beach has easy access and the view is beautiful. Thank you to Todd today for cleaning up our room making it look so inviting and comfortable.

Beautiful Hotel & great food at the Seafood Restaurant & the restaurants in the Casino.....They even have an Arcade for the kids & a nice indoor pool! I'd recommend CWCR to anyone wanting to stay at the Beach!

We stayed last night and walked into a closet of a room. Horribly small with no nice features. Bed was super uncomfortable and there is zero air circulation. No AC, no bathroom fan, which btw the bathroom barely has space for one person. The pool is in a separate building inconveniently far away and fitness room just silly. The casino was not that great and the buffet has the smallest selection I have seen at a casino. It's sad when the best tasting food there was the salad. Only bonus is it's right on the beach. Great location right on a beautiful beach! Great buffet! We loved the casino night life. Wonderful atmosphere and great family vacation destinations had a fantastic arcade for the kids and play place for the little ones. Defintiely recommend this place!
Stayed at Chinook Winds Hotel last night and my wife and I both had a very miserable stay there. Our room (Bldg D) was right next to some kind of very loud machine that ran constantly all night. So...pretty much zero sleep for us. The TV in the room pretty much did not work. Was hard to watch through the pixelated picture. My wife was sick most of the night after we ate at the Buffet.
