Always exceptional customer service from Chinook Lumber, most recently from Chase K. in North Bend and Lisa T. in Contractor Sales. Very competitive pricing as well. Skip the orange and blue big-box home stores and give your business to this locally-owned, family-operated business.
Great if youre a professional, awful if youre an amateur. I live in Snoqualmie, and do a lot of amateur DIY. On two occasions I've gone to Chinook for lumber, and had a couple of (possibly dumb) questions. Both times, despite an empty store, the team have made it very clear that my questions made them impatient and annoyed. I'd rather drive to issaquah Lowes, pay more, pick and pack my own lumber, and talk to friendly assistant, than be shamed for having questions.
