My family has used Chinook home health care for years, the employees are beyond caring and treat their patients like family of their own. I have recommended them to many friends over the years and they all feel the same way. Tammy Green specifically has been heaven sent, my grandmother saw her as a daughter of her own in many ways. I hired Chinook after being with 2 other companies. There seemed to be never ending issues at both companies. The caregivers were always on the phone, lazy, and didn't have very much experience. when I called Chinook, I was surprised to get a live person on the phone and not a voice mail. I needed someone right away because the company I was with, left me with no caregiver. I had a doctors appointment in two days and after my stroke, I really needed around the clock care. We have the most amazing caregivers, who truly care about our clients! They respect Boundaries and put the clients needs before their own. We check on our clients in the home as well as the caregivers weekly. While this may be annoying for some, it’s the way that we make sure our clients are matched well with the care staff and to make sure the caregivers are doing their job well. I can write this review since enough time and grieving has now passed. The short story that leads up to seeking out Chinook Home Health Care is that caregivers of another company had supposedly been giving CNA level care to my 88-year-old bed ridden father. My mother, who had been an RN for over 50 years, expressed concern to me about their inability to perform their duties. My mother had expressed her concerns to that owner, and she was being ignored.
