Very Good Sushi – We are big sushi fans in Seattle, and - after much research - have settled on Chiniose as our mainstay. Sushi chefs Jack and Jackie (not related) are amazing. The fish is always extraordinarily fresh, most notably the uni. Their hamachi and albacore are unrivaled in Seattle. Chef and wok man Ming makes the best Thai shrimp around. If you like sushi, you owe it to yourself to check this place out!
enjoy your lunch! – Although the food was tasty, the service was a disappointment! The waitstaff was more concerned about enjoying THEIR lunch, than paying attention to their customers. After we received our food, the waitress only returned to give us our check. How about refills next time?
Exotic Bliss – On top of havnig a great variety of asain foods to choose from. The unique and exotic sushi selection they have gives it the ultimate thumbs up. Cucumber wrapped salmon rolls and delicious tempura are sure to satisfy any sushi goer, not to mention the wonderfuly spicy TNT and spicy scallops rolls as well. Be prepared to pay a little more than normal but know that its well worth it.
Yum – Great food. This can be a bit pricey, but as a treat I really enjoy this place. The servers definitely aren't the most attentive or speedy, but not at all rude. The sushi is artfully arranged and tasty. Try the sushi roll which is wrapped witha thin roll of cucumber. Enough other things to satisfy a non-sushi eater as well. Never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for a table.
Delicious – Absolutely amazing sushi. Some of the best we've ever had.
Birthday success – I had personal doubts when my girlfriend said we were celebrating my birthday at Chinoise. Large groups and sushi outings have never mixed well for me. Surprisingly, this evening was a complete success. My large group of eight ordered huge quantities of food, all of which tasted spectacular and was promptly served. Our waitress was lively and attentive, and chock full of tips and suggestions on our choices; nothing beats a waitstaff whose knowledgeable about the goings-on in the kitchen! By comparison, the... read more
Hot spot – My favorite restaurant! I've been frequenting this little spot for the past two years and it has become quite the hot spot. I can be crowded, but I've never waited more than 5 minutes for a table and the food is wonderful.
good but slow – good food but the service is slow and often snotty. and the sushi is only fair - they put odd toppings (like green onions) on some of their sushi, which is annoying. take-out orders are promised to be ready in "20 minutes" but always take longer and the servers like to ignore you while you're waiting to pick up your food.
Delicious – Great atmosphere, fresh sushi, terrific variety. I look forward to bringing my brother & his wife when they visit.
