I would highly recommend ChinJung Mom, especially our doula Young Mi Kim, who took such wonderful care of my newborn son and me. From day one, I felt I could trust her completely with my baby. You can tell she truly loves babies and cares for them as if they were her own. 맞벌이이고 두 사람 모두 업무 강도가 높은 직군이라면, childcare에서 가장 중요한 건 결국 “좋은 분이냐” 이전에 reliability와 operational stability라고 생각합니다. 아이를 맡긴다는 건 단순히 하루 몇 시간을 도움받는 개념이 아니라, 부모 두 사람의 일정, 회의, 출장, 업무 전체가 그 시스템 위에 올라가 있다는 뜻이기 때문입니다. 그래서 communication consistency, expectation management, 그리고 unexpected situation이 생겼을 때 agency가 얼마나 책임감 있게 조율하고 관리하는지가 정말 중요합니다. 그런 의미에서 저희 가족에게 이번 경험은 굉장히 stressful했고, 결과적으로는 “안정적으로 long-term 운영 가능한 childcare system”이라는 신뢰를 주지 못했습니다. 물론 사람 일이다 보니 모든 매칭이 완벽할 수는 없다고 생각합니다. 하지만 최소한의 predictability와 professionalism은 있어야 하고, 특히... read more

샐리 이모님께서 친정엄마처럼 따뜻하게 대해주시고, 아기랑 저희 부부 모두 세심하게 챙겨주셔서 너무 편하게 산후조리 할 수 있었어요. 특히 아기 케어를 너무 잘해주셔서 믿고 맡길 수 있었고, 덕분에 푹 쉬면서 회복에 집중할 수 있었습니다. 음식도 항상 정성스럽게 준비해주셔서 매끼 감사한 마음으로 먹었어요. 정말 감사했습니다!

이번에 둘째 출산 후에도 친정맘 통해서 이모님 배정받아 4주간 산후조리 잘 받았습니다. 셀리 이모님께서 몸 회복하는 것도 많이 도와주시고 모르는 것들도 많이 알려주셔서 큰 도움 받았어요. 마사지도 정말 잘해주시고 두번째 출산인데도 불구하고 정말 빨리 회복하고 있는 중이에요. 저희 둘째는 물론 첫째도 정말 많이 예뻐해 주셔서 정말 감사했습니다. 첫째 마음도 잘 헤아려 주셔서 첫째가 많이 서운해하지 않고 즐겁게 동생 맞이 했습니다. 둘째도 이모님 덕분에 지난 4주간 건강하게 잠도 잘 자고 몸무게도 많이 늘었어요. 신생아 케어 관련해서도 꼼꼼하게 알려주시고, 계실 때 뿐만 아니라 이후에 어떻게 돌봐야하는지도 알려주셔서 가시고 난 다음에도 아이를 잘 볼 수 있는 기반이 된 것 같아요. 셀리 이모님 음식도 다양하고 맛있게 해주셔서 저랑 남편, 첫째도 매일 깨끗이 다 먹었어요. 체계적으로 아이도 잘 봐주시고 또 따듯하게 감정적으로도 잘 돌봐주신 셀리 이모님께 감사하단 말씀 전합니다.
