A MOTEL is a more accurate description. Definitely more like a place to lay your head for the night. People outside @ all hours...not too bad though. I bought bed bug spray for us bc we did feel a little itchy and the bed frame was dirty. The shower was fine. The sink only streamed water. Literally a couple of toiletries in the room .The staff is accomidating though if you need something. The only big plus is that you're in the heart of Chinatown. Restaurants (even a French cafe) are right there if you're hungry.
Very basic service but very close to everything in chinatown.
Overpriced at $130 a night for a weekend stay, especially considering that no breakfast or any real service is provided. The room lacks basic amenities like a microwave, meaning you have to head downstairs to use a communal one. What makes the stay even worse is the front desk service—the Indian woman working there has a very lazy and unwelcoming attitude. It’s an older hotel in the middle of Chinatown. The bed was very uncomfortable. I had to wear a back brace while I slept. Everything was outdated but great location.
You get what you pay for, very cheap crappy hotel. No elevator. Not updated in 40 years. Basically a shithole. Bed was decent.
