Five Stars! I had an excellent experience at China Wok located at 2556 E Bearss Ave in Tampa. I ordered a lunch special and was genuinely impressed—more than plenty of food plus a soda for under $10 is hard to beat these days. The restaurant itself is very clean, and the live plants throughout the space were such a lovely touch 🪴—they really add to the welcoming atmosphere. General Tso's Chicken is very good
We ordered vegetable lo mein which the noodles were pretty good and we got a side of sweet and sour sauce which was okay. The main problem was that the "vegetable" lo mein had almost no vegetables there was about three pea pods and three to four pieces of onion and that was it!! It's pretty bad when they can't even get vegetables right.
These are the people that actually gave me the freshest food I've ever eaten at an Asian shop. Ordered general tso and it was the crispest entree I've ever had.
Their food is good but they never open on time and you can see them in there well before opening. Sat in the parking lot and thought if I called at 12:10 they'd at least answer. Nah could clearly see through the windows they ignored it. Also do not expect the lady to be nice cause she clearly hates her life.
