Fair World on quality of food, undercooked meat. Waiters were nice and very attentive. Clean except minor counters around food of course. Can improve on desserts, completly disagree with height money. Overall, our expierience after all my visits was good!

I WIL NOT GIVE THEM NO STAR. I ask the waitress do the drink come with the kid meal and she said yes, then I when to the front, I was told that I have to pay for his drink by the manger, she call the waitress up front and she lye and said that she didn't tell me that, so then the manger said that I was lying, and said that I have to pay, that was so wrong, to be made to pay for something or go to jail .I, myself and family and friend will never go back, I never been treated so badly, they need to close

First time trying this place today and we've eaten at other Chinese food places and none were as bad as this one. I don't know what was up with the taste but it was like they cooked it in bad grease and something else tasted like it was bad . My husband who eats anything and loves Chinese buffets even said he lost his appetite and almost threw up! First and last time going there!

The food is absolutely disgusting. Anyone who claims it's good has never had good food. My husband who eats anything thinks it's gross. The food is cold. The sushi is pretty good. The restaurant itself is dirty, my feet stick to floor and it makes me gag when I walk in due to smell. That is horrible Chinese food.

I have eaten at China Star several times and I love it! About to go there today. The food is great and the service is always friendly. I especially love the fruit and the baked white fish! The BEST Chinese restaurant in Beaumont!!

They charged my 1 year old daughter! Can you believe this? In addition to a 2.5 yo... Besides that, food was quite regular, hibachi was awful - stay away! Their sushi is good though. This is why they get a start from me.

Wow, Wow Wow. no master cheif here. should of listen to my wife! She was right! Was that the spicy chicken or teriyaki? All taste the same. I even heard others talking about the food being gross.

When i come to restaurant and spend my hard earned money I expect to be satisfied. We ate there today at 3:54 add the food was hard, dried up, and old. There was no fresh food available. Now you pay before you eat....geesh. Go check out the buffet before you pay. Then there are big signs down dowlen street that says that the crabs are here at China star and the manager tells us there is none. And to think that if we were there five minutes later we would have paid more money for a seafood buffet that only has shrimp.

I have been here twice now and both times were poor. I give it two stars because I like how the present the items on the buffet. I had to fill our tables drinks because the server was lost somewhere. The food is obviously not from native Chinese chefs nor someone properly trained in cooking Chinese food. The only sushi they have is California style with no traditional sushi available. One sushi cook (not a chef by any means) agreed to give me some tuna sashimi, but cut the tuna into 1/2 inch thick cubes! This guys seriously ... read more
