Rare find. Reminds me of how good Chinese restaurants used to be 30 years ago
I haven't been here in quite some time. Sadly they got rid of their buffet, but with raising prices and food waste I can not blame them. I tend to go real Chinese food when I go to a place, and my girl gets the more Americanised stuff. So I default to my all time favorite Chinese dish, mapo tofu. The mapo tofu is different from other places in town to my delight. It had a nice firm outside and a hot squishy middle from the tofu. Don't let the dated and cluttered interior deter you, this place is legit. The portions are large, the food is made to order. All 3 of us loved our meals. I also got a cup of hot n sour soup. It was probably the best I've had in years. The staff (owners, I'm assuming) were attentive and friendly. They seemed to know almost every one who came in. Looking forward to going back and trying other items.
