The food came quick but the chicken seemed like left over scrap pieces

Today, I had delivery from China Inn. Our food was hot, tasty, and most of all prompt service with a smile. We are looking forward to ordering China Inn soon. Thank You China Inn Staff
put in an order @ 7. waited....at 8:30 called and asked where my order was. i realized it was a friday night and things could be slow, i was told a manager would call me. 1/2 later, nothing. driver with food finally showed up @ my house and i told him i wasn't paying for cold food. he left. called back and explained the situation was told there was not a manager on duty, even though i was told several times the person i was talking to was the manager. i was told 3 times a manager would call, and didn't speak to one until 9:5... read more
not the best my wife and i went there during prime time and no one else was in the restaurant - that was the first bad sign. the food was some of the worst i've ever had and my wife was sick for a week. during the entire meal there were not any other customers. we learned our lesson the hard way. so i can not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you want to make someone very ill and that can be quite handy from time to time - personally i would stick to the tea or the soup. - dr alex
Being from Chicago, I loved the Chinese I got from China Town. And China Inn in southeast Cedar Rapids delivers that quality in my opinion. Especially w/ their fried rice (only place that I know of in CR that can make it Chicago style (dark brown)). Also love their various selection of chicken (Sesame and General Tao is my fav), spare pork ribs, crab rangoons, and egg rolls. Overall, a good place in my book for Chinese in the southeast side of Cedar Rapids. P.S. They also deliver in a timely manner. :)
VERY RUDE!!! Called to order and first he was talking to other customers and didnt even tell me to please hold. Then, as i was giving my order, kept asking for my phone number. Then was told if i wanted to switch the white rice for fried, i would have to switch to the combo which costs about $2 more.
First it took over an hour to arrive and was cold!! Rice was crunchy and NOT done shrimp was NOT done chicken lo neon had no chicken!! And to top it off I called to let them no and she hung up on me!!..I called back and she told me tht Shes been working in restaurants for 15 years don't tell her how to cook and hung up again!!!! FOOD AND SERVICE THE WORST EVER!!!!!
The place is a Dive, lets be honest. Nothing fancy. However the food is great, the service exceptional. Recommend the Sesame Chicken, Extra hot. Recommend their Wonton Soup as well.
