After living in the area for a couple of years, finally decided to stop at China Garden. Got some take out from a friendly employee who suggested the wontons. Restaurant looked nice, clean. The wontons were undercooked, not crispy at all. Never had soggy wontons before. The fried dumplings were good. Found the beef lo mein to be super average. So overall, the meal was not great and not cheap. Not in a rush to try China Garden again.
What a disappointment with China Garden. Today we bought food in this restaurant and, when we opened one of the lumpias, we found a long hair inside. It was a very unpleasant experience and shows a serious lack of hygiene in the preparation of food. I have photos and videos that show what happened. It’s unacceptable to pay for a meal and find something like that. I hope the restaurant takes measures to improve its cleaning controls and prevent other people from going through the same situation.
