Legend has it, in South Brazil traditional gauchos (cowboys) would consume a diet that consisted almost entirely of beef. The meat was seasoned, placed on skewers, and slow cooked over a wood burning flame. Historically, gauchos were known for their generosity and hospitality.

One of the best resturants in Fort Lauderdale One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Short of dining with Gaucho's on the plains of South America, this is the next best thing. Wonderful setting, the building is set back off the street in what used to be an old art gallery. The food is 5 star and the service rivals the top restaurants in the area. You must go, but arrive hungry!
Great Food. I ate at Chima two times, once with my fiance and his employer, and once with his parents. The food is quite expensive, however you get a lot of food. They come around with all kinds of steak and chicken. The food is absolutely delicious. I really like the mashed potatoes too. The servers are really nice.
Great But Expensive the food does not really come better and great place, service, and everything. Just be careful when you get the check... VERY $$$$$$

I sacrificed my birthday present to go to this place, and I was damn happy I did so. I ended up tipping almost everyone I came in contact with that night. The service, the atmosphere, the food..... it all hit the sky and beyond. */|\* The first thing that I loved was the free valet. Too bad the mall doesn't offer that, eh? I have been three times to this restaurant. Every single one of my experiences have been The Best. Waiters are permanently coming around your table to make you feel pampered with all their delicious meats. They answer your questions, they guide well. Best salad Bar !
