Chiloso Denton, we need to talk. I have been a fan. Past tense. A recent visit has left me wondering what happened to the place I used to know. The food came out bland. Not "needs a little salt" bland, more like "did anyone season this?" bland. The staff looked like they would rather be anywhere else, which, honestly, same. The price has not gone down, but the effort seems to have. That math does not work in your favor. Come back, Chiloso. I am rooting for you. But right now, it's not worth it.
Placed an online order tonight and when my husband went to pick it up he was told that they haven’t started on it since i selected the “2 tacos” option and two meats so they didn’t know if i want half of each meat on one taco or one of each. Which is ridiculous. So then my husband had to wait 15 mins over the pickup time for them to make it. As pictured there is hardly any meat in the tacos when they usually fill it up with meat and toppings. They also put big chunks of tomatoes instead of the usual diced tomatoes. Horrible ... read more
I wish I could give zero stars. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review, but this experience was so much worse than any other time I’ve been here. I ordered a smothered burrito with queso and Mexican rice. Instead of putting it in a boat like usual, the employee wrapped it in foil 5-6 times. When I politely asked him to put it in a boat instead, he got an attitude and told me to speak up and “For reference next time, tell the people not to put it in foil.” just didn't want to be helpful. The food is delicious and consistently good. Salsas are also great! The soup, flautas, and taquitos are all fantastic! The Bella Blanca salsa is exceptionally delicious. Also, their breakfast is so underrated and such a good value!
