Nice place to eat
Just four minutes from me, I found the perfect little spot. They have B&B, and the bartender, Mark, knows how to give it a proper pour over a large cube. 🥃 I typically stop in during happy hour for a few appetizers and my B&B. They also have nightly specials, and one of my favorites is the crusted salmon served over jalapeño mashed potatoes with asparagus. Good food, a good pour, and four minutes from home? Yep…that’ll do.
Chillfire in Denver is always a good experience. The service and food is usually excellent. "Usually" is why I'm giving ot 4 stars. It's never been bad but about every 3rd or so time I go there for dinner they have an off day where the service is quite slow and the steak so so. That's the exception though not the rulle. Id say it's in the top 5 steak houses in the area.
We had a problematic experience the time before our most recent visit. The Filet Medallions were tough and overcooked and the service was pretty bad. Our last visit was much more to our liking. The food and service were much better.
