Had a great afternoon with the locals
Clean and charming place! Lovely outdoor beer garden, camping area (for those self contained), good pub food and friendly publican. Close to the caves, weir and smelter. Town kangaroos, peacocks and Guinea fowl roam through. Great fun!
I'm with sunny roo. I also found the main lady behind the bar frosty (possibly the publican). She made a point of serving locals or anyone else before us when we had waited much longer. She was also very adamant that we drive to front of hotel and walk in if we wanted to camp. I'm pretty sure she wants to make sure we are on her cameras. They were also ridiculously pedantic about when they sold meals. They had to wait until 6 pm on the dot even though they were giving you tickets when you paid for pig on spit night.
