UPDATE: Chillitos used to offer their pico de gallo at their salsa bar. They now charge at least $1.50 for a very small amount. For me, this is a deal breaker. I don't go there much anymore, but if I do, it's water only and no tip. They are not making as much off me as they used to as we would eat there 1-2 times a week, buy sodas, and leave a tip. No more. Hope it was worth it to them.
We have been coming to Chilitos for 20 years and it has always been consistently good. The menu is very approachable with a variety of tacos, burritos and enchiladas. There is a salsa bar with a variety of house made salsas along with chopped onion and cilantro. They serve an excellent birria but I'm not sure if it's available every day. The inside is always bright and clean and very spacious. It's a nice neighborhood restaurant that I hope we will continue to enjoy for years to come.
The food here was absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can really tell they put care into the quality of their food.The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Will definitely be going back !
