The reviews look pretty bad here. Our son had surgery by Dr. Reisman about 24 years ago. He is human. He did say something like, "you could just leave it this way," when it was obviously a bad situation. But think about the stress of the job. It's not like flipping hamburgers or doing body work on a car. When someone performs, he notices his own mistakes probably more than those watching. Dr.Reisman is very arrogant man with zero bedside manner I would find him hard to bear as an adult , This man has no business working with children. At our first and last appointment with him he walked into the exam room and said OK let's see what we've got here and just pulled down my sons shorts...than said he is scared and needs to be cir'ed. Avoid Children's Urology Group. Granted I've not met Dr. Reisman. He may be an incredible doctor. But, I couldn't get past his office staff. I scheduled an appointment for my 1-1/2 month son to be circumcised. They called me the day before my appointment to tell me there were issues with my insurance. When I returned the call, they said that they did confirm that I had insurance, and that the procedure would be covered. Worst display of customer service skill...Ever!! – I would never recommend any one to go through what I and my family went through at the hands of Dr Reisman. This Doctor is rude to say the least. My son had extra fore skin after his circumcision, so we decided to remove it. His pediatrician recommended Dr Reisman, so we schedule an appointment for a consult. DR REISMANN IS NO GOOD.... DOESNT EVEN DESERVE A STAR – I RATE DR REISMAN THE LOWEST RATING EVER, HE IS RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, ARROGANT AND CARES ONLY ABOUT HIMSELF. WE HAD A SURGERY SCHEDULED, THEY WANT TO EXTEND THE TIME FOR ANOTHER 3 HOURS. MY 6MONTH OLD HADNT EATEN FOR OVER 12 HOURS COS THEIR NURSE SAID SO. Excellent Surgical Skills – Dr. Reisman repaired my 9 week old son's bilateral inguinal hernia. Here are a few observations regarding my interaction with Dr. Reisman and Children's Urology Group. We were referred to Dr. Reisman and this group by our pediatrician, who had a family member that had been a patient. BEST UROLOGIST – WELL HE IS MY UROLOGIST AND HE GAVE ME MEDICATION AND I DONT HAVE ACCIDENTS ANYMORE. YOU ARE A PARENT IM A CHILD.... IT MADE MY LIFE DIFFERENT. I DONT GET MADE FUN OF. awful, awful pediatrician! – Don't ever take your child here! Reisman is condescending, patronizing and downright RUDE. I'd NEVER let him lay a hand on my child. The 1st time we saw Reisman, he told us that the invasive (and expensive) test that he wanted to do on her was optional and that he just wanted to do it to "cover his bases".
