If I could give this place a million stars I would. I am a product of this place. This place saved my life. I was in Miller Cottage and the Shelter for about 3 years. I came from a very damaged bring up. They provided me the tools and the resources to grow to accept my past and move on. They help me break a cycle of abuse that had plagued people for multiple generations handed down like a watch. Oh BTW I still have my watch LOL. I hang it as a badge of honor. This place was a nightmare for me when I was seven or 8. It was the worst year of my life there version of behavior control is putting you in a restraint that would turn your arms numb or even tell you could not feel them any more I could go on abot the way they would try to control the kids. They would also feed you food that was not healthy I gaind 20 to 30 pounds there. I once went to Children's Square before and the staff there, let's just say, they were absoulutely incredible and in my opinion, the nicest staff out of all the placements i've been to:) so im just gonna say, if your kid(s) are having troubles or behavioral issues i recommend Children's square.

7/10. Please parents do not send your children here! Yes, there’s amazing staff such as , ms. misky, ms yesica and ms iris (i really don’t know how to spell their names) but the children there are terrible! i was just released from being in that place for a week and it was traumatic. kids there runaway 24/7 , they say sexual comments about others and trust me nobody cares. as much as i loved every single staff member in there no matter who told or what happened it was never solved.
